Swaminathan Rajamanickam is a seasoned IT leader with over four decades of experience driving software development, consulting, and project management across the Asia Pacific region. Based in Singapore, he is the Co-founder and Director of Alegre Ventures Pte Ltd, a consulting firm dedicated to providing Data, AI, and Digital Transformation services. Through his company, Swaminathan focuses on educating and empowering small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and non-profit organizations to thrive in the modern digital landscape.

An impactful educator, Swaminathan serves as an Adjunct Faculty member across various Institutes of Higher Learning (IHLs), private business schools, and training institutions. He holds a Master’s degree in Software Engineering from the National University of Singapore (NUS). To deliver industry-aligned training, he has earned certifications in the Accelerated Industry-centric Training Pathway (AITP) for the ICT Sector from SUSS & IAL, and is a Certified GenAI Practitioner (GSDC).

Swaminathan’s thought leadership is reflected in his co-authorship of “Transform or Perish” and his contributions to the Singapore Computer Society’s (SCS) “AI Ethics & Governance Body of Knowledge.” A Senior Member of the SCS and Secretary of its Business Analytics Chapter, he also supports GovTech Singapore as a Tech Kaki member, participating in user research and testing for government apps and solutions.

Deeply committed to mentorship and community service, Swaminathan acts as an Executive Mentor at NTUC and SCS, a Student Mentor at SINDA, and a Volunteer Career Advisor at Workforce Singapore (WSG). He also volunteers with the Singapore Red Cross. Additionally, he is a Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) with Toastmasters International, leveraging his elite communication skills across his consulting, teaching, and advocacy work.
